Wilwood Disc Brakes announces improved good looks and braking performance for the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35. These front and rear brake kits are designed for easy bolt-on installation and are compatible with the OE master cylinder, ABS system.
Front brake kits (product number 140-9190) feature billet CNC machined Forged Narrow Superlite 6-piston calipers in a choice of red or black finish, clamping a choice of 13 or 14 diameter, curved vane rotors. These rotors come in a drilled and slotted (SRP) pattern or slotted only (GT) for high heat applications, mated to black signature anodized aluminum hats for reduced rotating weight and improved stability under thermal load.
Rear brake kits (product number 140-9507) include Forged Billet DynaPro 4-piston calipers, also in a red or black finish. A choice of SRP or GT 13 diameter, curved vane rotors with iron hats are available to accommodate the OE parking brake function.
Additional kit highlights include Wilwoods new BP-10 Smart Pads for low noise, and low dust, precision machined caliper brackets, high-strength, corrosion resistant mounting hardware.

My new vehicle! The 2012 VW Beetle Turbo in Platinum Grey Metallic.

My Dad had 2 Beetles: 1 from the late 60s, and one from the early 70s. He loved them. Thought I’d join the VW party.
I’m rather tall (6’5″), and I had to move the seat up. This is the only car I’ve been in where I had to do that so I could reach the pedals.
I’ve never had a vehicle with turbo before. When in « sport mode », this thing flies off the line. When in « regular mode », the turbo seems to kick in when the RPMs are pretty high (don’t have an exact number to offer yet).
Anyways, this thing is fun, fast, practical, sexy, and gets great gas mileage. I hope she’ll last me many years.
