Just a fortnight later two examples of the V12 Zagato took to the track to compete in the Nürburgring 24hr race, both finishing the endurance epic to continue Aston Martin’s 100% record in the gruelling event. August 2011 then saw the announcement that the V12 Zagato would enter a strictly limited production run – with customer deliveries taking place later this year the V12 Zagato is destined to become one of the most exclusive and desirable Aston Martins ever produced. A few of the UKs VW enthusiast club owners were invited by VW to test out the new mk6 Golf GTI. As part of this VW arranged for Russ Swift (guiness world record holder for drift parking) to demonstrate the handling capabilities of the car.
