Just a fortnight later two examples of the V12 Zagato took to the track to compete in the Nürburgring 24hr race, both finishing the endurance epic to continue Aston Martin’s 100% record in the gruelling event. August 2011 then saw the announcement that the V12 Zagato would enter a strictly limited production run – with customer deliveries taking place later this year the V12 Zagato is destined to become one of the most exclusive and desirable Aston Martins ever produced. The RS4 Avant generates its personality from a hand built 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 450PS ( 331kW / 444 hp ) and 430 Nm (317.15 lb-ft) of torque. It allows it to accelerate from 0-100kph (0-62mph) in 4.7 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250kph (155mph). Drivers looking to take full advantage of the model can request to have the speed limiter removed to raise the top speed up to 280kph (174 mph). The performance figures become a little more impressive when you add in the fuel economy stats. It consumes an average of 11 liters per 100km which is 21.38 mpg in US standards.

Jorrik records the very first Ferrari 458 Italia in the Netherlands!! It just arrived yesterday morning! We drove on a highway in the Netherlands when a Ferrari 348 past us, so we decided to follow it and we came out at Kroymans (Ferrari/Aston Martin/Maserati) in Hilversum. In the garage we saw this great Ferrari 458 Italia, we waited half an hour and than it came out for a little testride! First off, this is not supposed to be the best photo. No flash and hand held at like 12, so not great at all. I just wanted to get a shot up. So yesterday I got a new car. This is now my baby. She is very peppy and fun to drive. All I know about it is that it has neuspeed front and back sway bars, and a CAI. I am super pumped about it.

I really enjoy the new borla sound this is my second Borla exhaust and I look forward to putting the Borla headers on soon. Only issue I have was with the Borla Kit being damage during shipping. This is a before and after video/sound comparison of my 2007 Cayman S factory exhaust system and the new Borla 12653 Race Exhaust System

Because I wish I had seen some good sound/video clips of the Borla XR-1 and K&N Typhoon intake before I bought them, here they are on my ’04 STi. First clip of each set is the car with just the Borla XR-1 …..second clip is with the XR-1 and the K&N Typhoon Short-Ram intake. Everything is labeled anyway. I can’t tell all that much difference in sound, although many say that the Typhoon intake makes it louder. Let me know what you think. I’d say it purrs a little more, there’s a bit more whine from the engine bay and the Typhoon adds some smoothness to the engine. Anyway, enjoy! Thanks to Mike for helping me out! I recorded a great looking matte/carbon black Volkswagen Golf VI GTI tuned by XBM Tuning and CFC Neuss, with XBM Tuning Exhaust and Software, KW Suspension, Stoptech BigBrake Kit.
